Baseboards collect dust, scuffs and pet hair in a continuous line at exactly the height a room is judged from a doorway. Wiped with a mop they smear; done by hand they disappear, and the whole room reads as finished. In the older houses inside the loop and in Bellaire, where the baseboards are tall and painted, it is the single most visible thing a deep clean does.
How often they need it
Two or three times a year is plenty in most Houston homes. They are hand-detailed as standard in every Signature deep clean, so if you book a deep clean twice a year you never need to think about them separately. Between times they are an add-on to any recurring clean.

Questions about baseboard cleaning
Is this included in a regular clean?
Baseboards are dusted as part of a regular clean. Hand-detailing them, the version that actually removes scuffs and build-up, is part of a deep clean, or an add-on to a regular one.
Will you damage the paint?
No. They are wiped by hand, not scrubbed with anything abrasive. Marks that are in the paint rather than on it need paint, not cleaning, and we will tell you which is which.
Do you move furniture to reach them?
We do the baseboards behind anything we can safely move and anything we can reach around. Beds, sofas and heavy pieces stay put.
How much time does it add to a clean?
It depends on the size of the house and how long since they were last done. It is real time on hands and knees, which is why it is not part of a regular visit. Tell us the size of the house and we will say.
