Why bathrooms take the time
We ask for your bathroom count as well as your bedrooms, and that is not arbitrary. A bathroom takes longer than a bedroom to clean properly, every single time, and a Houston house with three of them is a materially bigger job than the same house with one. Planning the visit around that is more honest than averaging it and hoping.
What a standard visit covers
The shower or tub scrubbed and rinsed down, the toilet cleaned inside, outside and around the base, the sink and its fixtures descaled, the mirror and any glass left streak-free, the floor mopped and the trash emptied. Every bathroom, every visit, whether it is a new en-suite in Pearland or original 1940s tile in West University.
Houston humidity
In this climate a bathroom that is not extracted well will show it in the grout within a season. A deep clean takes the tile and grout properly and scrubs the shower to the grout line, which resets it. Questions about bathroom cleaning
Do you remove mould?
We clean surface mildew from tile, grout and sealant. Anything behind a wall or in the structure is a remediation job, not a cleaning one, and we will tell you if that is what you are looking at.
What products do you use in the bathroom?
Our own, brought with the crew. If you would rather we used a particular product on a stone tile or a specific finish, leave it out and tell us and we will use only that.
Do you clean the shower door and glass?
Yes. Glass doors and screens are cleaned and left streak-free on every visit. Heavy limescale on glass takes longer, and is one of the places a Signature clean earns its keep.
Does a half bath count as a bathroom?
It is counted, because it still takes time. Give us the full count, half baths included, when you ask for a quote so the visit is planned honestly.
